NSIC enlists Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) under Single Point Registration scheme (SPRS) for participation in Government Purchases. The units enlisted under Single Point Registration Scheme of NSIC are eligible to get the benefits under Public Procurement Policy for Micro & Small Enterprises (MSEs) Order 2012 as notified by the Government of India, Ministry of Micro Small & Medium Enterprises, New Delhi vide Gazette Notification dated 23.03.2012 and amendment vide order no. S.O. 5670(E) dated 9th November 2018.The enlistment under SPRS is completely online.
In order to facilitate MSMEs in terms of Technology adoption and achieve higher business efficiencies, business automation and compliances, NSIC operates as an aggregator and facilitator of ICT Enabled Digital Services to MSMEs on transparent and affordable prices by way of on-boarding various service providers offering different products/ services that are required by MSMEs for adopting the digital ways of managing their businesses.
Marketrng, a strategic tool for business development, is critical for the growth and survival of MSMEs. Due to the lack of information, scarcity of resources and unorganized ways of selling /marketing, MSME sector often faces problems in explonng new markets and retaining the existing ones. Keeping in view these facts, the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme has been introduced to enhalce the marketability of products and services in the MSME sector
NSIC provides technical support to MSMEs through 'NSIC Technical Services Centres' (NTSCs) and a number of TICs & LBIs spread across the country. The range of technical services provided through these centres include skill development in Hi-Tech as well as conventional trades, material and product testing at our testing laboratories accredited by NABL / BIS, common facilities, energy audit, environment management etc.
NSIC, through its various testing laboratories accredited by NABL / BIS, provides material and product testing, energy audit, facilities, thus, enhancing their overall competitiveness. These Centre are equipped with the State of the Art indigenous equipments for carrying out performance and acceptance tests in the fields of chemical, material, electrical, motor & pumps, metallurgical etc.
Raw Material Assistance Scheme aims at helping MSMEs by way of financing the purchase of Raw Material (Both indigenous & imported). This gives an opportunity to MSMEs to focus better on manufacturing quality products.
The Scheme will cover discounting of bills arising out of genuine trade transactions i.e. supplies made by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to reputed Public Limited Companies / State and Central Govt. Departments / Undertakings / Private Limited Companies (not traders), engaged in manufacturing / service activities.
The scheme is called as Assistance to Wholesalers and Retail Traders (Abbreviated as - AWRT) for purchase of Materials/ Goods and Service against security of Bank Guarantee.
